It is based on comparison analysis and compilation of on several sources.
The map is updated as often as I have time to do it. It is not purposed to be 100% accurate as reliable sources are sometimes difficult to obtain, but the work is aimed at giving a global view on Syrian civil war positions to non-specialist people.
